Name: Basketball
Ability: He can sometimes be seen playing basketball by himself when he has free time. His aim is usually off; he can see the basket, but his sightless eye prevents him from judging the distance between himself and the basket. This also prevents him from joining the basketball team, so his popularity isn't that great from it. He doesn't really talk about it unless you mention it; if you ask him how he feels about it, he'll simply say, "It's a way to exercise without hurting yourself." His basketball skills are above average, but they are nowhere near great.
History: Though basketball probably wasn't the greatest choice, when Karatsu was a child he had wanted to play a sport. Soccer and hockey; too easy to be kicked. Football; can you see him doing that without splintering his skeleton into pieces? Running with his poor lungs? Haa, basketball seemed like the only option (actually, there were plenty more for him). He asked Takashi to help him, and so he learned how to play it.... Again, he isn't the greatest, but it's still pretty good thanks to practice.

Name: Cooking
Ability: He doesn't look like a cooking type at all, does he? He's rather good at cooking, enough to make his own meals every day three times a day (or maybe two). He is also good at baking. Though he doesn't tell people about this, it's quite apparent the moment you taste his food. Since he likes sweet things, his foods tend to be sweet, and he never makes spicy food.
History: His mom liked to cook, "Matt" liked to read. When his mother committed suicide, what she left behind were a few cookbooks. His dad had little to no cooking skill, so Karatsu began to practice what his mom had left him. After a few explosions, visits from the fire department, and many, many wrecked bentos, he became an expert at cooking.

Name: Singing
Ability: Ah, finally, it's finally a hobby/skill that seems to match him. No cost, no payment, he doesn't even need his eyes. Just some vibrating vocal cords and working ears. Though he reached puberty and everything, his voice can go to high pitches without cracking and low without a problem, and seems to be very... Soothing. The perfect voice.
History: Genetics; "Matt"'s mother was wonderful and known for her gentle singing voice before her death. Trying to fill up the void she had left him with, "Matt" began singing quietly to himself... He had never seen his singing as "good". What is good singing anyways? He didn't know that if he pursued a job with singing he'd probably get a lot of money... Though he's really, REALLY shy about it. He doesn't like it when others hear his singing voice. Who knows how he'll open up?

Name: Memory
Ability: Probably his best skill; he is able to remember almost everything he hears/is taught/sees (though it only half counts for the last one). You teach him a song? He'll remember it word by word. He attends a meeting? He can type out the entire thing an year later without a problem. If anyone knew about "Matt"'s skill they'd probably use him like hell... But then again, he never bothered to tell anyone about it. To him it's just a natural skill.
History: He had had this skill ever since he was little; after a few years of living he he realized that he remembers every story, every single word spoken to him before. At first it was all blurry, but when he thought about it, he was able to remember it all. Sometimes he wishes not to have this skill, but it comes handy most of the time..
