Privacy: The door to Lucas' place is always unlocked and open. Everybody is welcome as long as they are not coming to cause trouble. So the doors always open and welcoming unless he's out on vacation or something like that.

Traffic: Ever since he's calmed down in his life to focus in his last year, the amount of traffic coming in and going out of Lucas' dorm has lowered. There was once a point in time, when he was a freshmen, that girls would constantly be seen and heard in his room. For obvious reasons. But now traffic is limited as of late. A few people come to visit ever now and then instead.
