Kael's Skills

Name: Musical Talent

Ability: Kael's talent with music is far above average, he has been playing for a long time and as such has great skill in each of his instruments, he also has a very talented voice.

In terms of musical ability Kael could easily play a concert with either his piano or his violin, these being his chosen instruments. He can play flight of the bumblebees perfectly on his violin – a very difficult piece indeed

History: Kael's parents taught him to play as soon as he was old enough to reach the piano or hold the violin. His low latent inhibition meant that he was basically a creative genius and as such picked up things such as cord progression and tempo easily, even adding his own little flourishes in by the time he was ten. After his parent's death the first thing he did was have their instruments recovered from the house, they were luckily stored in the basement because it had been converted to be soundproofed so that you could play without disturbing anyone. He played furiously over the next period of months, playing his heart and soul out. He dove into the music and it hurt as he was reminded of his parents but he never stopped.

Name: A talent for violence

Ability: Kael has a third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, which he received shortly before the incident with the fire. He also has an advantage in that where most people just see the fist coming towards them, Kael sees everything about the situation and how to best use it to his advantage. Because of these things he has an above average reaction time and his reflexes are highly tuned.

History: Kael has been training in Tae Kwon do since he could walk, he reached black belt under his father at age ten – and don't think that he went easier because it was his son, in fact he pushed Kael harder than anyone else.

Name: Creative Genius

Ability: This isn't so much a skill as it is an inherent ability. Kael is for lack of a better term, a genius. He learns exceptionally quickly, especially when it comes to creative things. Therefore he is an above average actor, he can pain and draw at a high quality and his creative writing has always been above par – although it can be somewhat unusual

History: Bi product of Low Latent Inhibition – guess you could say genetically

Name: Parkour / Free Running

Ability: Kael can free run with the best of them, his highly trained reflexes helping somewhat with the riskier moves. He can climb buildings, run over rooftops, he knows the best way to move so you don't hurt yourself and he loves to run.

History: After Kael's parents died he did everything he could to give himself some form of escape, he learned this because he saw it as one of the ultimate ways of escape, as though up on the rooftops it was another world, one where you needn't have a care in the world.

Name:Mechanical Aptitude

Ability: Kael is a moderately skilled mechanic, he specialises in fixing and customising bikes but he knows enough to get by when dealing with cars.

History: Kael's fathers oldest hobby besides training in Tae Kwon Do was to repair and rebuild old motorbikes and cars, he therefore let Kael join in because he knew it would not only strengthen the bond between them but it would suit Kael's low latent inhibition perfectly, giving him so much to focus on that he could just lose himself in it and have no cares or worries.
