Vital Statistics:
Name: Caroline Freeborne.
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Height: 5'3
Weight: 126 pounds (is that about 9 stone?? Sorry, I'm English, we don't really *do* pounds!)
Appearance: Caroline long ago gave up on dressing smartly and conservatively - instead, she chooses to wear the least ripped of her jeans and the cleanest of her t-shirts when teaching. Her hair went prematurely grey at just 19, but given her pale complexion and cold blue eyes, it doesn't seem as strange as it could. She's small and fairly skinny, a die-hard vegan diet and commitment to daily yoga sessions giving her a lean but strong look. She's pretty, if not beautiful, but her make-up acts more as a mask than as a way of emphasising this, and she rarely if ever looks in the mirror and likes what she sees.
Employment Qualities:
Regularity: Full-time
Position(s): English teacher
Professionalism: Caroline may not be the most orthodox teacher, preferring a relaxed attitude with her students, but she has very clear boundaries for herself that she won't cross under any circumstances. Although she is friendly with the students, she still maintains a clear teacher-student relationship with them and has no problem with authority in her classes.
Relations:
Sexuality: Bisexual. She's had her fair share of relationships in the past, but although she's very open about her sexuality in general, she doesn't like to talk about things too specifically.
Fetishes: Caroline likes people to be intelligent and articulate and has no time for people who don't have their own mind. Looks-wise, she's mostly not fussy, as long as they look after themselves and dress pretty ok.
Likes: Reading, music, theatre, staying up late and talking to people.
Dislikes: Sport, boring people, reality television and getting up early in the morning.
Back Story:
History: Lived all her life in New York City, Caroline was raised on good books and punk rock. Her mother left when she was very small, but she grew up quite happily with her father and two older brothers. When other girls her age were spending money on make-up and clothes, Caroline was buying books, CDs and the very occasional theatre ticket. She did fairly well at school, excelling at English, French and German but doing somewhat less than averagely at Maths, Science and IT. After getting her degree, Caroline travelled round Europe for a short and taught at a number of different schools before settling down here.
