Day 1: Off to a Bad Start

Kira woke up late that day, the first day. Maybe I should've stopped at the tenth shot last night. Oh well. He shuffled through the halls, not really noticing anything. "The halls are rather empty." He mumbled to himself. He walked past the line of students at his door. He didn't look at any of them, he didn't even acknowledge their existence. He simply walked up to room 37 and unlocked the door. He walked in the room and behind his desk. He dropped his lesson plans on his desk and then turned to face the chalkboard and began to write his name upon the board. The classroom was out fitted with a Smart Board (600 series) and projector to go with it. the room was rather simple in design. It had the teacher's desk in the front corner and rows of chairs with the attached desks. There were about five rows of seven desks. In the back corner, adjacent to the teacher's desk, was a closet that had various AV equipment inside it. As well as cleaning supplies that Kira had decided to use as punishment.

When Kira had finished writing his name on the chalkboard he sat at his desk and put his head down on the desk with a moan. "Okay, no more liqueur on school nights."

Kan was waiting for a long time... but when he came he didn't really care at that moment of time if he came or not, he was almost thinking the guy would never come. Kan walked inside as he opened the door, took his seat, and simply waited...

Kan saw that he wasn't in a good condition right now... so... was this gonna be like... a free period?

Kan waited for a bit and then finally said something, "How much liquor did you drink... err..." Kan read the board... "Mr. Koga?" all the students looked at Kan and then at Kira for his answer.

Kira looked up at the student who inquired to his intake of alcohol. "Well, when you drink as much as I did, you start to forget." He let his head fall back down onto his desk. He motioned for him to come to his desk. When he arrived, Kira handed him the roster. "Take attendance."

OOC: We're going to wait for any other students. I'm going to check for others and PM them so they know the class has started, then we'll continue when everyone has posted. I'll list the students here when I know.

Some students chuckled to keep a good atmosphere, Kan was motioned to come to his desk for something... so Kan got up and did so.

"Attendance huh?" Kan checked the list and saw a moderate amount of students like himself here... Kan went to his own name and checked it off... then he decided to call out the other people's names to see if they were here.

Kira noticed that Kan had finished attendance and waved him back to his seat. "Today, we are going to learn about hangovers. Who can tell me what a hangover is, why one gets it, and what the symptoms are?" Kira looked up at his class and saw a few hands go up. Some of the students looked peeved that they weren't learning math while others took this opportunity to sleep. Today, Kira didn't care but, Kira would not make this mistake tomorrow.

Kan went back to his seat after taking attendance for him, and sat down with a tired face... man... he was still sleepy, the morning sleepiness didn't let go of him...

Kan sighed and put his binder up in front of him, covering his head, so only Kira could see the binder, as Kan finished, he put his head down slightly on the desk and purred like a kitten... "Here I come Mr. Sandman..." Kan said as he closed his eyes and attempted to sleep...

Nobody was able or willing to answer his question, which was just as well. "Eeh. You shouldn't know about that yet anyway. Okay here's a fun little exercise. Pull the sword from the ground." Kira took his sword and forced into the floor of his classroom. He burrowed it so deep that the class below would not miss it and the entire blade was hidden under the floor. It would be impossible for them to get it out of the floor, unless they all worked together but, Kira counted on their stubbornness to cloud their judgment making them compete to be the ONE to pull out the sword. Kira was going to get some quite time while they tried to pull out the sword.

Kan was shifting around in his sleep... he was having a wild dream, that Kira had the superhuman strength to force his sword into the cement to the hilt... and that he asked everyone to be a team and attempt to take it out, very weird, everyone did so and tried their best to do just that...

Kan woke up suddenly yelling something, "THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE!" Kan yelled furiously, everyone looked at him surprised, giving him weird looks... Kan looked at Kira, he was still holding his sword, then he looked around the classroom, everyone was in their seats... "Man, that was a crazy dream..." Kan rubbed his head for a second, how could Kira have superhuman strength and manage to put his sword into the ground? That was plain ridiculous, him wielding a sword in class was already stupid enough...

Anyhow, he was no doubt going to get in trouble... what did Kira say? We were gonna learn about hangovers?

"So, what are we learning about hangovers Mr. Koga?"

Kira wrote the questions separated on the board:

'What is a hangover' 'Why One gets a hangover' 'List the symptoms'

Kira turned to his class and said, "If you know the answer write it on the board under the appropriate question." Kira walked back to his desk and let his head fall back down on the table.

Kan already knew one answer, he went to the board and wrote 'Because you drink too much, binge drinking doesn't help.' under 'Why one gets a hangover'. It was a pretty clear answer, and he also listed 'Headache' under 'List the symptoms'... and he also listed, 'Look at Mr. Koga for a example.' under 'What is a hangover' as a funny joke, some people chuckled, some people grinned, and some people didn't show any emotion and just kept thinking, the rest were good sports and laughed quietly.

Kan went back to his desk, full of accomplishment, and relaxed in his seat.

Kira didn't look at the board but, he saw a few students walk up after Kan had and decided to call it a day. "Class dismissed." Kira waved his hand in the air before he fell back onto his desk and fell asleep.

...Dismissed!?...

Kan got up, "Seriously!?" everyone was surprised as well, Kan didn't take any chances to change his mind and gathered up his stuff, so it turned out to be a extended lunch, very nice!

"See ya Mr. Koga! I hope you get better!" Kan said quickly and left the class, people took this chance and slowly left the class... well, they weren't going to stay if the teacher said they were dismissed.
