FreeRice

Hey everyone,

A friend directed me to this site awhile back. You are presented with a vocabulary word, and for each word definition you choose correctly, 10 grains of rice are donated to the United Nations Food Program. It may not seem like a lot, but before I knew it I had over 1000 grains donated, which I'm pretty sure would supply a meal for one person. It's part of an effort to end world hunger, which is a big leap, but I still think every bit counts. They have other subjects aside from vocabulary and it's a good way to help out a good cause while exercising your brain too!

Of course, no one's forced to do this, I just thought it would be nice to share with those who may be interested (:
