Back story:
History: Amanda was born to a very wonderful set of parents. They loved her, and since she was an only child, she was pretty much spoiled. She got everything she wanted, but she never let that go to her head. When it came time for her to start school, Mandi met some class mates, but they didn't really seem interested in her. She was fine with that. Mandi was more of a loner in elementry, though that made it easier for her to be head of her class. It gave her way more time to study, and she read pretty much every book in the library by the time she started middle school. There, Mandi met one of her best friends. Her friend's name was also Amanda. Later on, after a very bad incident happened, Mandi became very much on the edge. Her best friend was murdered right in front of her, and she couldn't do anything to stop the murderer. Mandi became very suicidal, but with plenty of help, she became used to the idea that her friend died. She still cannot forgive that guy that murdered her friend. Amanda soon started high school. She still didn't really make any friends, but she was still pretty smart, but wasn't the smartest one. Mandi's parents work a lot, so she really doesn't get to spend much time with them, but they still call her everyday, email her when they can, and write her letters. She loves that about her parents, and they also send her things that she may want that hasn't come out in some countries. They work at a business that just has those kinds of connections. Mandi finally made it to her junior year of high school, and can't wait to meet new people since she transfered to Whisper Hallow Academy.
