Woo! So, I'm gonna be singing this song at my school's talent show. And I'm probably gonna get up there and choke. >_< Any singers on here have pointers for me if I want to put on a good stage performance?

*glomps* First of all, uber good luck nya! >w< I love Kagamine Rin :3 I'm not a singer, but I've performed fairly big roles in drama performances and I have one coming up in 3 weeks x3; I have some tips!<33
~Relax!! Most of all, relax! Don't drink and fizzy drinks before your performance, or have anything to heavy on the stomach. Before a performance I usually have water (even though I hate it lol), and something really boring like bread and butter xD;; If you eat something too heavy, you'll be feeling the effects during your performance. And... fizzy drinks might make you burp owo;;;
~Go out there and sing your heart out. If you make any mistakes at all, keep going. Just keep going even if people notice you've made a mistake. Any good singer or actor will give you respect for carrying on :3
~If you're singing it in Japanese, work on your accent and your pronunciations. If you're singing in English, make sure you don't accidentally start singing in Japanese @w@;
~Don't start corpsing (laughing out of context), though I doubt you would ^^;
~Don't be static; move around! I'm not saying do a huge complicated dance performance (unless you want to, of course xD), but move a little.
~Wear something comfortable! Trust me... wear something you can move around in >.<;; I once had to wear a flowing long white dress in a play. I kept tripping over it and had to practice moving around in it @w@ (lol I'm so lame xD)
Sorry for writing so much... but I uberly hope it helps^^ I can't really take credit for all of this... most of it is things I've been taught in drama club and drama class xD;

I'm not a singer. Trust me, I don't sing XD; I sound like a howling monkey.
But! I can give you some tips, I guess! XD It's all pure logic, though, so I guess you already know these things.
*looks for things that Ellis-chan didn't say*
*PUTS ON HARSH FACE* <--- I'm super harsh/blunt when it comes to giving advice, so please don't get offended! ><
- Make sure you don't get a cold before the talent show! Trust me, it happens to me a lot (though I don't attend talent shows)! Like, I get a cold right before going on a trip to Denver, Colorado in the dead of winter, and it was HELL! And I didn't need to go up on a stage and sing there, though my voice sounded like a frog! So drink plenty of fluids, vitamin C, eat nutritious meals, and I don't care if it's as hot as a volcano where you live just keep healthy. I have a cold right now and trust me, I don't sound that good @_@
- Practice makes perfect! Go in front of a mirror and sing. Pay attention to your voice, but record it as well, since you hear yourself differently than other people do (This is because the vibrations of your voice go through your body, and your ears pick up those vibrations as well as the ones in the air). Watch your face, too. Some people make rather ugly faces when they sing XD;;
- Don't tell yourself you're horrible. You're probably good, if you have enough courage to even think about going to the talent show *is someone who can't even think of it* x]
- Wear pretty shoes, but don't make them platform shoes. Or any uncomfortable type. It'd kill you.
- Make your voice LOUD. It's better to have a loud, ugly voice (not that I'm saying your voice is ugly) than to have a soft, amazing voice. Of course, if you have a microphone you don't have to scream into it, but if you DO have a microphone make some test runs with it before the talent show day. You want to make sure you sound nice with it and adjust your voice if you don't.
- Use the restroom before the performance.
- Clear your throat before singing, but not in the microphone.
- Uh... Don't be nervous. If you're nervous the night before the talent show, go to bed three hours earlier than your usual time and you should be fine. ^^
That's all I can give you, since I have little experience with singing ;; I'm not a big music person, either, so I can't give much advice except the obvious. Good luck~

Do you have enough time to make it? >.< You could always buy it online, though it's hard to find a fairly cheap good quality cosplay online... It's usually better to make one yourself @w@;

...It is kinda expensive^^; But it looks good quality owo; And if you're blonde you won't have to worry about a wig, and the hair band would be easy to make :3 I want the Black★Rock Shooter cosplay OTL...

Also.. >.< I found this version by Asami Shimoda and discovered that the pitch was lowered and it's better for me. Only thing is, I can't find an instrumental of it! How do you lower the pitch on an existing one, or at least, how would I find one with the pitch like her's?
